The snom m3 is a wireless IP DECT phone for customers that wish to use the CallPort VoIP platform, with the additional benefit of mobility; making it the ideal choice for those constantly on the move within their working environment.
What is IP DECT?
IP DECT is wireless telephony, which uses a SIP registration for each individual handset. The handsets register to a base station, which is connected by Ethernet to the LAN and onto the 8el core network.
Why choose the snom m3?
The snom m3 offers an affordable solution which provides mobility to the user in a small office or home enviroment. The snom m3 can provide seamless connectivity to the corporate telephone network when working from home. Up to 8 handsets can be connected to one base station, with a range of 50 meters indoors, which can be expanded considerably by using up to 6 DECT repeaters.
The handsets have been designed to incorporate the range of features expected from a snom handset, being easy to use and intuitive. Snom m3 IP DECT features include:

*The snom m3 does not offer Power over Ethernet or toughened handsets and base stations. For this reason, it is not recommend as a solution for outdoor or heavy usage environments.
