VoIP 'can help reduce phone outgoings'
VoIP has the capacity to help consumers and businesses reduce their outgoings that are associated with communications, it has been suggested.
An article on GTR News states that, in the current economic climate, people are placing a greater focus on the amount of money they spend in every area of their lives and looking for ways to get the best deal possible.
It suggested that if consumers use their mobile phone for most of their calls, then they might wish to think about getting rid of their landline, as this would free up some funds.
However, if they are reluctant to do this, then more cost-effective options - such as VoIP - could be perfect for them, the article stated.
In related news, an article by sector commentator Michael Barkoviak on Daily Tech suggests that VoIP could be a great way for international travellers to cut their costs while overseas.
